Digital Myth was founded by Dave Beaudrie and Kevin Caliber in 2015 with the short film "The Deal." They had met on a set several years earlier shortly after Kevin had moved to Los Angeles from St. Louis. Before long, the two were collaborating on multiple independent projects together through various mutual friends and acquaintances. (Los Angeles is a very big city, but a very small world.) Beaudrie had started writing and shooting small scenes with friends that he dubbed "The Low Budget Scene Shop." He and Kevin co-starred in one of the first ones, a short entitled "Stakeout." Around the same time, Kevin had started a Facebook group called LS3 (short for "Let's Shoot Some Shit") with various actors and crew for the purpose of assisting one another with film projects and web series ideas. As Dave and Kevin worked together more and more on multiple projects, they pooled their collective resources into Digital Myth. With four short films in the can, a web-series in pre-production and a feature film on the horizon, Digital Myth is just getting started.
